Sunflower Field - Visible Light at 200'

This sunflower crop appears moderate health at ground level and only slightly differentiated at 200′ above the field.  A benefit of using NIR (Near Infrared) coupled with red-edge (between NIR and Red) to view vegetation health is that distress shows first in reflectance of these non-visible bands, ahead of visible distress.

Some large hot spots in this field, maybe up to 25% of this 4-5ac shot.   A head start on distressed areas with precision adjustments will efficiently maximize yield for the field.

Same Sunflower field, different section, different problem?

Ag is a tough.  The challenges come from many angles, sometimes in the same field.   Here, we see distressed plants that appear to follow a meandering path, maybe an old creekbed causing nutrient issues.  Problems can appear to be patches at ground level but maybe, clearly connected from above.

Adding some analytical augmentation

Looking at this section of the field with augmented selection, it appears that some of this distress in this field is row-aligned.  Planting?  Irrigation or Application differences?   Opportunities in this field to improve yield 10-25% with some aerial and diagnostic information.
